Simply put, the tie is cut diagonally on the fabric, not straight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"2133\" height=\"1600\" src=\"https:\/\/school-ties.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/09\/IMG_2273.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-55\"\/><figcaption>Diagonally Cut Fabric<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is how we manufacture our school ties. The difference is simple. Pull your tie, you will notice it either has give in it so it stretches a little (this is bias cut), or it is very rigid and won&#8217;t stretch at all (this is cut on the straight).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most manufacturers of school ties cut the outer shell of the tie on the bias, but cut the lining on the straight.
